The Central Saanich Police Service held its 6th annual awards luncheon at the Brentwood Bay Lodge to honour and recognize the dedication and service by the police officers, civilian staff and volunteers. The honourable Judith Guichon, Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia and Mayor Ryan Windsor were in attendance to present the awards and address the recipients. Chief Constable Les Sylven was presented his Police Officer Commission, which is a new provincial honour to formally recognize senior members of municipal police departments for their rank, professionalism and dedication to policing in B.C. Congratulations to all of the award recipients for 2017!
