Mark your calendars for a night of music, food, and community spirit, to support the Wounded Warriors. The event, organized by Corporal Pat Bryant of the Central Saanich Police Service, will raise funds for the Wounded Warrior Run BC, an annual event supporting local first responders, veterans, and their families who have experienced trauma.
The event will feature live music performances by the talented Luke Lampard and Doctor Bones Project and include pizza provided by Peninsula Pizza. It takes place Saturday, January 25, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. at the Saanich Fairgrounds at 1528 Stellys Cross Road. Tickets are $25 and available at Category 12 Brewing, 2200 Keating Cross Road and online at www.category12beer.com.
The Wounded Warrior Run BC involves eight runners covering 800 kilometers over eight days on Vancouver Island. Participants, volunteers, and communities come together to create a powerful display of solidarity, respect, and appreciation for the sacrifices made by first responders and veterans.
"We are proud to have Corporal Pat Bryant representing Central Saanich on this incredible challenge for a great cause," said Chief Constable Ian Lawson. "In the 20 years Pat has been with Central Saanich, he has participated in more fundraising efforts than anyone could recall, including representing Central Saanich Police Service on the Tour de Rock in 2022. We are grateful for his dedication to these opportunities."
